Head-Space

Head-Space is an installation that explores perceptions of experience and memory through structure and environment. Artist, Camila Linaweaver and myself, began this collaboration through discussion of each other’s memories of child hood. Recognizing that our memories were often distorted, even imagined, we chose to explore what the space of a memory might look like.  Developing an experience for the viewer that conveyed the feeling of memory, the paths we take, and how our memories change through experience. We attempt to find sculptural and visual form regarding our visceral memories to generate new experiences for the audience.
